Dear Kyudo friends,
I recently found out that in Switzerland the land of the precision timepiece,
that is possible up until the 31st of January to wish someone a Happy
New Year.
So, I wish you all a happy, healthy, rewarding 2004 and good Kyudo practice!
I would like to start with a request, if you are not a member of one of
the
following Dojo's, please show your solidarity to our school and teachers
through the punctual payment of the Yearly Membership fee of 100 Euro's
( or as
much as you personal situation allows), the money should be paid into
the Bank

With the exception of the Dojo's: Doko, Paris; Gako, Wien; Hoko, Düsseldorf;
Koko, Bern; Shiko, Marburg; Shuko, Münster; Zenko; Bonn (These Dojo's

the payments direct to the umbrella organisation).
This year has many big Kyudo events: along with the Kyudo trip to Japan,
there
will be three weekend courses in the spring with Kanjuro Shibata XXI (Waka
Sensei).
On the 28 - 29th of February there is a weekend course in Münster.

We all hope that Kanjuro Shibata XX stays in good health and so that he
can
visit Europe in the summer.
Its planned tentatively that he will come to Marburg from the USA in July
and stay there
for two weeks. There after, 16th - 18th July it is planned to hold a course
in
Münster (open to intermediate and advanced students, we will ask
Sensei to
teach Reisha (manner shooting). Info: Max Baltin.
On the 20th of July Sensei will travel to Switzerland and there he will
give a
course in Bern on the weekend of the 24th - 25th of July. Info: Housi

the 30th of July is the "day of arrival" for the course for
intermiediate and
advanced students in Dechen Choling. The 4th of August is the "day
of arrival"
for the course open to all. The 13th of August is "day of departure"
for both
courses.

wie ich kürzlich erfuhr, wird in der Schweiz, dem Land der Präzisionsuhren,

Wir alle hoffen, dass Kanjuro Shibata XX bei guter Gesundheit bleibt und
im
Sommer nach Europa kommen wird.
Geplant ist, dass er Anfang July aus den USA nach Marburg kommt und dort
zwei
Wochen verbringt.
Danach ist vom 16. - 18. July ein Programm in Münster geplant (offen
für
fortgeschrittene Schüler, wir werden Sensei bitten, Reisha zu lehren
(manner

Am 20. July wird Sensei in die Schweiz reisen und am Wochenende 24., 25.
July
wird in Bern ein Programm stattfinden.
